About Siobhan

Siobhan is a registered psychologist with over ten years of experience working in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) at the Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne. Siobhan’s clinical practice is grounded in comprehensive assessment, crisis management, and complex case formulation. Siobhan has extensive expertise in administering and interpreting psychometric assessments, including cognitive testing, ADHD assessments, and behavioural screening tools, to support children and families in understanding and addressing their unique needs.

Siobhan brings a strong foundation in evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT), Mindfulness-Based interventions, and Family Systems Approaches. Siobhan has specialist expertise in supporting neurodivergent children and young people, particularly those experiencing anxiety, emotional dysregulation, sensory processing challenges, and difficulties with school attendance. Siobhan works closely with families, educators, and professionals to develop collaborative, recovery-focused care plans that create inclusive and supportive environments for children to thrive.

Previously, Siobhan was the Clinical Lead of the In2School program at the Royal Children’s Hospital, a specialised service dedicated to supporting children experiencing school avoidance, school refusal, and “school can’t.” In this role, Siobhan delivered high-level assessment, intervention, and recovery planning for children with complex mental health and school-related challenges.

Siobhan is passionate about lifelong learning and brings warmth, compassion, and genuine care to her work with clients, creating a safe and supportive space where they feel understood and valued. Outside of work, Siobhan enjoys beach walks with her family and spending time with their cheeky and very lovable Beaglier dog.
